CAK wins Class A-AA State Soccer Championship
The Warriors defeat rival Alcoa 4-2 to win their sixth state soccer title in the last seven years.

Murfreesboro (WVLT-TV), The Christian Academy Warriors have done it again. CAK and Alcoa played in the Class A-AA state soccer title game this afternoon over in Murfreesboro. CAK had won five of the last six titles, Alcoa was making it's first ever trip to state.
And the Tornadoes stormed out to an early as Andrew Mitchell got ahold of the ball and shot it past the keeper to make it 1-0.
But CAK was resilient. Jake Ragland slid his way past a defender and knocked the ball into the back of the net to tie tie the game at one.
Then in the 19th minute, CAK had a corner kick, it bounced around in the box, before Chris Pifer booted it past the goalie.
Tom Gerlach's Warriors, who finished runner-up in the tournament last Spring win it 4-2, capturing their sixth Class A-AA soccer title in the last seven years.
