South-Doyle, Seymour hire hoops coaches
Union County's Brian Jessie will coach the Eagles; Cumberland County's Scott Eggleston moves to South-Doyle

(WVLT) -- Seymour and South-Doyle both hired new basketball coaches Thursday, both of whom previously coached at another East Tennessee school.
PrepXtra.com reported Thursday that Seymour has tabbed former Union County coach Brian Jessie as its new head man. Jessie won 111 games during his six-season tenure in Maynardville. He led the Patriots to the Class AA sectionals last season.
Scott Eggleston moves from Cumberland County to coach the Cherokees. Eggleston led the Jets for three years; before that, he coached in Michigan and Florida.

Coach Egg will do a great job. South Doyle is getting a great coach, but an even better person.
