Knoxville (WVLT-TV), A scary moment for the folks in the Halls community on Monday. Halls high school senior quarterback Zach Dowdy was in a wreck, in which his car flipped several times. It happened on the way to Red Devils practice. I spoke with Halls head coach Kevin Julian Monday night and he told me Zach suffered a ruptured spleen, but the good news is that he was wearing his seat belt and that his injuries are not life threatening. Obviously, Dowdy's football future has been put on hold. Julian says that is certainly that is of no concern right now and that all those affected are blessed that Zach is going to be alright!
