Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Fulton guard Jalen Steele will take his game to the plains of Auburn, Alabama.
Fulton head basketball coach Jody Wright told Sports Overtime Monday afternoon that Steele had committed to Auburn. Steele took an official visit to the Auburn campus over the weekend.
According to Wright, his all-state guard just felt "comfortable" at Auburn and that the Tigers were "a good fit."
Wright also said that Steele was hoping to get the recruiting process over early, that way he could focus on his senior season with the Falcons.
The last two years, Steele has helped Fulton win back-to-back state championships. As a junior, Steele averaged just over 21 points a game. The guard was also receiving interest from Western Kentucky, Alabama, and Southern California.
