Alcoa, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Alcoa-to-Kentucky pipeline continues. For the third time in four years, a talented Tornado has pledged to play for the Wildcats. The latest: tight end/defensive lineman Tyler Robinson.
Robinson told Sports Overtime Saturday afternoon that he informed Kentucky coaches that he wants to play for the Big Blue. Kentucky already has two former Alcoa players on its roster--wide receivers Randall Cobb and Kyrus Lanxter.
Alcoa has won five straight state titles. Robinson has been a part of three of those championships. In 2008, he was the Class AA Mr. Football lineman award winner.
