KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- National Signing Day might have been nearly three weeks ago, but that didn't stop Austin-East High School from putting together a very impressive post-signing day ceremony.

Five Roadrunners from last year's district championship team signed letters-of-intent Tuesday in the school library.

Tusculum was able to ink two Roadrunners, as linebacker Ravon Farris and safety Marcus Matthews signed with the Pioneers.

Matthew Walker is also keeping his game in East Tennessee. The linebacker will play ball at Maryville College.

Sheldon Wade, a defensive back this past season for Austin-East, signed papers to play at Austin Peay.

Devonte Hawkins was the lone Roadrunner that will play outside the Volunteer State. The two-time all-state linebacker inked papers with Howard University, which is located in Washington, D.C.

Austin-East went 9-4 in 2009 and made it to the third round of the state playoffs.
