Former Austin-East and Oak Ridge coach Stanton Stevens has accepted the head coaching job at LaVergne High School

Knoxville, (WVLT-TV), We can tell you that our old friend Stanton Stevens is getting back into coaching. The former A-E and Oak Ridge coach has accepted the head coaching job at LaVergne high school just outside of Nshville.
Most recently, Stevens has been working with Mark Packer and crew on our Rivalry Thursday night broadcasts and did a fine job with that, but it's back to the sidelines for Stanton, who won a state title with the Road Runners and now looks to rekindle that success in middle Tennessee...
