KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Seymour Volunteer Firefighters battled a massive house fire in the Double D Subdivision in Sevier County Monday afternoon.
Witnesses say the fire started sometime before 2:30, and pictures sent to VolunteerTV.com by neighbors Ken and Inger Conner show that the house appears to be a total loss.
In the Photos, black smoke can be seen from a distance, and after the flames were snuffed out, only the home's skeleton remained standing.
There's no word on whether anyone was home when the blaze started, or what ignited the flames.
