4 arrested for alleged home invasion in Sevier County
Four men were arrested Sunday in connection with an early-morning home invasion that happened Sunday morning on King Hollow Road in Sevier County, according to the Sevier County Sheriff's Office.

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Four men were arrested Sunday in connection with an early-morning home invasion that happened Sunday morning on King Hollow Road in Sevier County, according to the Sevier County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say the victim called police around 2:00 a.m. Sunday to report the robbery, saying one of the suspects brandished a shotgun before taking off.

During a traffic stop, detectives say they found "incriminating evidence" and a stolen flat screen TV inside a vehicle occupied by four suspects.

The four suspects were arrested and charged in connection with the home invasion.

Detectives say at least one of the suspects knew the victim.

David Wells, 20, of Indian Ridge Way in Sevierville, is charged with attempted aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon and theft over $500. His bail is set at $125,000.

Joseph Stanton, 22, of Turtle Dove Way in Sevierville, is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. His bail is set at $110,000.

Daniel C. Karavas, 23, of Monee, Ill., is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. His bail is set at $110,000.

Craig L. Vercher, 20, of Hot Springs, Ark., is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary. His bail is set at $110,000.

Please keep in mind "innocent until proven guilty." This "case" does not make sense.....4 men after a TV set! Something's not right here.
