SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man was shot in Sevier County around 11:40 Friday morning, and Lifestar was dispatched to the Home Depot on Allensville Road to fly the patient to UT Medical Center, according to Sevier County deputies.

Deputies say the shooting happened near some apartments on Kellum Creek Road.

Reports from the scene indicate that the victim may have been shot in the shoulder or upper torso with a .38 caliber handgun.

It looks like I will no longer be able to watch TV without a satellite dish. I refuse to pay for programs with so many commercials that each hour has about 15 minutes of programming. So Long Channels 6, 8 10 and 43. I will be watching tri cities and Asheville from now on. See Ya!
