SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sevier County fugitive accused of robbing a Pigeon Forge furniture store Friday before leading police on a two-county chase that led to a manhunt has been arrested in Alabama, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

Blount County Sheriff's spokesperson Marian O'Brian was not prepared to release any further information about the arrest of Phillip Hammock, 37, but says details will be forthcoming.

Warrants against Hammock have already been sworn out in Sevier County.
