SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Sevierville firefighter is back at home Sunday night after a quick trip to the hospital.
Around Noon on Sunday, fire raced through the home at 804 Burden Hill Road.
Firefighters tell us, an elderly couple lives there and flames spread from their chimney into the attic before they realized there was a problem.
They weren't hurt.
A cast iron stove top shifted and fell on top of a fireman's foot, pinning it, as he was fighting the fire.
It took a couple others to pull it off.
The fireman, we're told, has a severe bruise, but is ok.
The home has extensive damage.
