KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Offensive lineman Jerrod Shaw returned to practice Tuesday, but wide receiver Denarius Moore was still walking around in a boot. Both players are recovering from ankle injuries sustained in the 50-0 win over UT-Martin on Saturday.

Derek Dooley said Sunday during his teleconference that both players were questionable for Saturday's game, but with Shaw able to practice on Tuesday, he should be fine and ready to go when the Vols take on Oregon Saturday night at 7.

The Vols did receive a scare on Tuesday, as center Cody Pope was taken to UT Medical Center. He was later released. Tennessee spokesperson Jimmy Stanton did not have details on why Pope was admitted to the hospital, but he said all tests came back fine and Pope is expected to be back on the practice field Wednesday afternoon.

Wide receiver Gerald Jones will miss Saturday's game with a broken hand. The senior is expected to miss 2-3 games.
