(KNOXVILLE) -- Vol fans will once more be able to watch Tee Martin, James Wilhoit, and other famous Tennessee players compete on the gridiron, thanks to the All American Football League (AAFL), a new venture which will hold a 700-player combine Thursday in the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center.

The AAFL features six teams which will play 10 games, starting in April 2008. The teams are located in Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Alabama and Texas. The Tennessee team will play its games at Neyland Stadium.

The league will also announce Thursday that former Tennessee quarterback Andy Kelly will serve as the Team Tennessee head coach. Kelly has played several seasons in the Arena Football League after quarterbacking the Vols from 1989-1991, leading the team to an SEC title and Sugar Bowl win in 1990.

Thursday's combine allows college graduates to try out for the league. The tryouts will last from 8am Thursday until 7pm Friday.

The league wil feature several former college stars, including Chris Leak, Eric Crouch and Clint Stoerner.
