SAN ANTONIO (AP) -- San Antonio Silver Stars guard Shanna Zolman Crossley, a former Tennessee Lady Vol, will miss the WNBA season after tearing a ligament in a pre-season game.
Crossley, a 40 percent career 3-point shooter, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee during Monday's pre-season game against Detroit.
Crossley was set to start her third season in the league and with the Silver Stars. She'll have surgery May 22.
Last season, she averaged 9 points in 34 games.
