(WVLT) -- The NFL has suspended Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones a minimum of four games after fighting with his team-appointed bodyguard Oct. 8 at a Dallas hotel, the NFL announced Tuesday.
NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell cited yet another violation of the league's personal conduct policy as the reason for the suspension. He said Jones' "disturbing pattern of behavior was clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL."
Jones has recorded 25 tackles and a forced fumble -- but no interceptions -- in Dallas' first six games this season.
The NFL said Goodell will decide the final length of Jones' suspension after the Cowboys' Week 11 matchup with Washington, which takes place Nov. 16.
