MEMPHIS (WVLT) -- Wide receiver Marlon Brown is widely considered to be the top prep receiver in the nation. He's also one of the Tennessee coaching staff's most coveted recruits.
Thursday, he told us he's taken LSU out of the picture and is down to his top four schools -- and fortunately for the Vols, they're on the list.
Brown said he's considering Florida, Georgia and Ohio State along with the Vols. That echoes what he told an ESPN reporter during Sunday's Under Armor All-American Game, in which Brown had a 71-yard touchdown catch.

This was a good opportunity to ask the top in-state prospect a lot of insightful questions, but this reporter did not seem very prepared to do so. It was obvious he wanted Marlon to say he was leaning towards Tennessee, and I think he was somewhat unprofessional towards that end. However, I do like the enthusiasm. I hope VolunteerTV is able to set up more interviews with top prospects in the future.
