Softball teams enjoy competition, cameraderie at Caswell Park

(WVLT) -- They come from all over East Tennessee, vying for softball supremacy while having a ball with each other.
Several area teams are at Caswell Park this weekend for a softball tournament full of intensity and ringing with cheers from every dugout. For the Knoxville Knightmares, a young team, it's a chance to build the program while having a good time.
"All the girls really enjoy it," said coach Kenny Doss. "We play teams all over East Tennessee. We travel as far to Middle Tennessee to play games. They have a blast every time they come out. Whether we win or lose, it's a good learning experience for the girls."
The tournament lasts until Sunday.
