Knoxville, TN. (WVLT-TV), The Toyota of Knoxville Team won the inaugural Pilot Rocky Top summer basketball league championship, by defeating The Knoxville News Sentinel for the title, 131-120 over at Bearden High School.
Andy Tipton led the champs with 44 points. Former Halls standout Cameron Sharpe led the way for the News Sentinel Press, which goes 6-3 in it's 9-games. Toyota closes out with a 7-2 record. Also, it was Suntrust winning Monday night's consolation game with a 134-131 win over Kingston Alley. For highlights from Monday night's championship game, be sure to click on the above video link.
