FARRAGUT (WVLT) -- The Farragut Lady Admirals looked like they were ready to steer their ship into the region semifinals.

That is, until Jill Herman sunk their postseason hopes.

The Powell senior hit a scoop shot with four seconds left to propel the Lady Panthers to a 36-35 win and a berth in the Region 2-AAA semis.

Herman's heroics came just seconds after a three-pointer by Alex Newby gave Farragut the lead in a seesaw fourth period. The Panthers advance to play Oak Ridge in the next round.
