Nashville, TN , Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young will not be disciplined by the NFL according to the Tennessean.
Citing sources familiar with the situation, the newspaper says an official announcement should come sometime this week.
Back in June, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Young was unlikely to be suspended being a first time legal offender. Young was cited for misdemeanor assault following an altercation at a Dallas strip club.
Young apologized for his actions, saying he hoped the league would not suspend him.
"I pray to God that Roger Goodell doesn't come down hard on me, because I definitely want to be here for my teammates," Young said when he apologized.
With Young under center, the Titans won eight of their final 10 games last season. The former Texas standout is entering his fifth season in the NFL and is 26-13 as a starter.
