Russo is the Sports Director for WVLT VOLUNTEER TV Sports Overtime.
In the past 22 years, I have covered everything from NASCAR racing to Atlanta Braves games and spring training. I've covered every University of Tennessee Volunteers sport, including the basketball Lady Vols' and the football Vols' national championships.
I grew up in Miami, Florida, where my family still lives. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in broadcasting, and he began my TV career at WSAV-TV in Savannah, Georgia.
I am fluent in Spanish and French.
When I'm not covering the Vols, I like to stay active in the community. Each year, I emcee the Special Olympics in Blount County. I also enjoy outdoor sports and spending time with my wife, Pam, and our daughters, Nicole and Alyssa.
