COLUMBIA, Tenn. (AP) -- A Maury County woman has been charged with reckless homicide for what her attorney says was the accidental asphyxiation of her husband after he consented to be bound and gagged.

According to the arrest warrant, 25-year-old Rebecca Bargy placed duct tape over James Bargy's mouth and eyes, put a ball gag in his mouth and then tied a bandage around his head, leaving only his nostrils showing.

She also tied his hands and legs behind his back. She then left him for 20 hours.

Authorities found the 29-year-old's body around 4 p.m. Saturday. Rebecca Bargy faces up to 12 years in prison if found guilty.

She has a bond hearing set for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Mt. Pleasant. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Someone is uninformed and does not need to practice B&D. Not just the woman in this article but a poster here. Why have a safe word if there's no one in the room to hear it? You never leave someone bound in any way for that long under even the most, ahem, fun, circumstances. Extended bindings are done in a moderately comfortable position, usually sitting or lying down. With someone in the room at all times. And NEVER for as long as 20 hours. More than two and you risk blood clots, that's why doctors put those balloon things on your legs during surgery. Yes, these acts are about control, but unknown to dangerous amateurs, (Like a previous and ill informed poster here for example) the slave has just as much, and in many cases more, control that the master. Know the difference before you tie on your corset. No, to this pro Domina this sounds like a case of first degree murder posing as a sexual accident.

Leaving someone alone is part of this act. Its all a control factor. Although, i do agree this was a bit long amount of time to leave someone alone, evidentally with no food, water, or bathroom. It sounds as if this is not the first time they participated in this. But, to leave someone alone for that long, is completely unsafe, it does make it seem like it was deliberate.
