PARIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Authorities have charged a West Tennessee father and son with assault involving a prosthetic limb.

Henry County Sheriff's officials arrested 42-year-old Richard E. Lowe and 21-year-old Richard L. Lowe -- both of Whiskey Ridge Road -- on Sunday.

The Paris Post-Intelligencer quoted sheriff's investigators as saying a fight broke out at a party near Cottage Grove on Saturday night between the younger Lowe and another man.

Richard E. Lowe is accused of hitting the man in the head with a steel prosthetic arm, causing an eye injury and knocking him out.

The victim said when he came to, the Lowes were gone.

The deputy's report said Richard L. Lowe pulled a gun and pointed it at people as the father and son were leaving.
