Helton on MLB's 'Final Vote' ballot for All-Star Game
If the former Tennessee slugger receives enough votes, he will play in MLB's 2011 All-Star Game

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Colorado Rockies first baseman Todd Helton did not find himself on the National League all-star squad when rosters were released Sunday, but with your help, he still could.

The former Tennessee standout is one of ten players named to the 2011 All-Star Final Vote ballot (5 from the National League, five from the American League.)

Helton is currently batting .323 with nine home runs and 38 RBIs. Other nominees from the National League are Andre Ethier (Dodgers), Michael Morse (Nationals), Shane Victorino (Phillies) and Ian Kennedy (Diamondbacks).

Helton is a 5-time all-star, having played in the game from 2000-2004.
