Knoxville (WVLT-TV), Holly Warlick told your Sports Overtime staff earlier this week that the possibility of becoming South Carolina's new head coach or reamaining at UT was a win win situation for her. It would have been great to branch off and run her own program, but remaining at her alma mater and working with the legend, Pat Summitt has been and would continue to be an ideal situation. Well, this afternoon Warlick confirmed for us that South Carolina has decided to to hire Temple coach and former collegiate and WNBA standout Dawn Staley.

Staley, who is a three time Olympic Gold medalist and has family ties near Columbia, SC., is expected to be formally introduced at a news conference on Saturday.
