(WVLT) -- Tennessee's stellar 2008 basketball recruiting class already had the icing on the cake after star shooting guard Scotty Hopson's commitment in March.
Now it has the cherry on top.
Four-star forward Emmanuel Negedu, ranked 40th in the class of 2008 by Rivals.com, committed to Tennessee Tuesday, choosing Bruce Pearl's Vols over Memphis, Indiana and Georgia Tech, according to GoVolsXtra.com
Negedu, a senior at Brewster (NH) Academy, signed with Arizona during the early signing period, but asked for his release after being disappointed by a visit to the campus.
Negedu joins Hopson, point guards Bobby Maze and Daniel West, forward Renaldo Woolridge and center Phillip Jurick in the 2008 class, which had already been labeled by many as a top-ten class.
