SAN DIEGO (WVLT) -- San Diego has signed former Tennessee quarterback Jonathan Crompton to its practice team.
The move comes one day after the Chargers cut Crompton.
San Diego took Crompton in the fifth round of this year's NFL draft, but the QB struggled in preseason games. Crompton connected on 18 of 33 passes for 204 yards, but he threw three interceptions and was sacked five times.
