well maximus if he has a couple of mediocre seasons the fans that wanted fulmer here will fill right at home because this train was headed in the wrong direction and we changed tracks today.. The fulmer supporters would never be happy when this decision was made that is the bottom line.

We love you, Coach Fulmer! I wish for you nothing but the absolute best. I will root for whatever team you end up coaching. Also, I want to say it's a bloody shame how that JOKE of an Athletic Director Mike Hamilton treated you. I predict that Kiffin will have a couple of mediocre seasons at UT and he'll leave for greener pastures and, much to Hamilton's dismay, it will be realized that there will be no coach ANYWHERE that can duplicate, or even come close to matching what you have done here at UT. As for me? I lost all faith in UT with yor treatment, or shall I say, mistreatment, at the hands of Hamilton. I'll never root for UT football as long as he is there. I'll be a BAMA fan until you get a new team (and you better believe I'll be your #1 fan when that day arrives). Oh, one final thing, I appreciated your class and conduct, especially with you praying at the end of the game. First class coach!

Mickey Mantle, Joe Namath, Michael Jordan, and our own Coach all come to a time when it is time to say goodbye and take a seat on the sideline. Nothing that happens at the time of leaving diminishes what was accomplished before hand. The greatest minds and entrepreneurs all come to a point when they have to lay down their game. What our Coach feels now will be alleviated by the warmth that he will receive from the people of Tennessee for years to come. I will never forget the homecoming that was given to Ray Mears. He gave of himself and he was appreciated all the way to the end. The good things are yet to come for our Tennessee Volunteer, Coach Phillip Fulmer.
