Former Vol OT Daryle Smith dies
Former UT Vol offensive lineman Daryle Smith died this morning at the age of 46, according to family members.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn (WVLT) -- Former UT Vol offensive lineman Daryle Smith died this morning at the age of 46, according to family members.
Smith was born in Knoxville graduated from Powell High School in 1982 and went on to play at UT in the mid-80's.
He then played in the NFL with 3 teams from 87-92.
He was the father of former Central High School and Powell High School tight end Lee Smith.
Family members say Daryle Smith checked into UT Medical Center Tuesday with pancreatic issues and gall stones. His family says he went into a coma shortly afterwards and died today.
Funeral arrangements have been set for Smith. The Family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00pm.-7:00pm. at the Halls chapel Mynatts. The service will immediately follow at the chapel at 7 o'clock.

Daryle you will sadley be missed. You were a greatly loved person, and I will be praying for the family doing these had times.
