3 inches of snow fell in parts of East Tenn.

PINPOINT 8 WEATHER CENTER -- This morning, East Tennessee woke to a white start to Saturday, with snow sprinkled across the region. Some parts of the region saw up to 3 inches of snow accumulation.

While the snow melted pretty fast, for a few hours of daylight, the region had a Winter morning, before Winter officially starts.
